The visitors to the Masné Krámy restaurant will be able to enjoy the “St. Martin Feast” again this year, as they can look forward to the Golden roasted “St. Martin Goose” with stuffed apple, red sour kraut and dumplings. The geese will be baked whole, with one serving being ¼ of the whole goose, which is about 800 grams. The “St. Martin Feast” begins today and ends on November, 14th. T
“The ‘St. Martin Feast’ always draws a lot of interest. This year, as many as 100 geese, therefore 400 servings could be sold,” says the Masné Krámy restaurant’s head chef Luděk Hauser. Other specialties of his will also be worth savouring, such as grilled turkey breast with bacon, smoked young pork baked in beer, foie gras and pumpkin soup. The Masné Krámy restaurant is renowned particularly for its Budweiser Budvar Krausened Lager, which is drawn directly form beer tanks. Nonetheless, throughout the “St. Martin Feast” there will also be “St. Martin Wine” extra prepared from Wine Cellars Mikulov. The white wine fans can savour Müller Thurgau, while red wine lovers can enjoy Svatovavřinecké.
The “St. Martin Feast” is amongst this year’s many gastronomic events in the Masné Krámy restaurant. In October, its visitors could relish the specialties of Austrian and Bavarian cuisines, while the “Venison Feast” is being prepared for the end of November.
