The “Pardál Run” opening ceremony takes place in the Hluboká nad Vltavou Adrenalin park on Saturday

On Saturday 28th June at 1 p.m., the Pardál Run opening ceremony takes place in the Hluboká nad Vltavou Adrenalin park. The Pardál run is an unconventional and physically demanding obstacle course fine-tuned by Pardál beer consumers. The description of each of its 7 obstacles as well as the map of the whole course can be found here. The Pardál Run launching ceremony will be conducted by the Pardál TV commercial hero Karel Zima (video can be viewed here).

“The Pardál run originated as a concrete result of the nearly year-old advertising campaign. Pardál beer connoisseurs and fans had been instrumental in its creation with their ideas, thus being the co-creators of not only the beer and the brand’s advertising activities, but now of the fine-tuned obstacle course as well. It is going to be a meeting place for friends spending their free time actively as well as an ideal platform for physical contact with the brand,” says Budweiser Budvar’s Pardál brand’s Alena Mazancová.

After the exhibition conquest of the course by well-known South Bohemian sportsmen (the teams of ČEZ Motor České Budějovice, SK Dynamo České Budějovice and VK Jihostroj České Budějovice), professional show jumpers and last year’s winners of the Quaint Rivercrafts Flotilla in Vyšší Brod (Sokolíci), anyone interested will be able to have first-hand experience of the Pardál Run, at the same time competing for valuable prizes. At 4.30 p.m. the band “Žlutý pes” (Yellow Dog in English) kicks off the musical part of the programme. The evening will be wound up with fireworks.

The Pardál Run is going to complete the choice of fun activities in the Hluboká nad Vltavou Adrenalin park. It is going to be open to the general public until the end of October. Only persons above 18 years of age are allowed to entry. They must mind their safety and follow the regulations of operation (see them here).

13:30 – The registration of the competing teams made of visitors
14:00 – The obstacle course will see some South Bohemian sportsmen perform - the exhibition of ice-hockey, football and volleyball teams as well as the winners of the Quaint Rivercrafts Flotilla in Vyšší Brod (Sokolíci team)
15:00 – The beginning of the visitor teams’ competition
16:30 – The presentation of the winning team, prize-giving
