Pardál beer is the main partner of this year’s 38th “Quaint Rivercrafts Flotilla”. The event’s history dates back to 1973. The organizers substantially extended this year’s accompanying programme, anticipating the attendance of as many as 3,000 visitors. Together with perfectly treated Pardál and Pardál Echt, visitors can look forward to amusing competitions and a rich musical programme within Vyšší Brod waterman camp premises during the whole afternoon. The male cancan or midnight Fire Show will be definitely worth watching. Furthermore, visitors will be provided with a large beer tent and a plenty of refreshments. This year’s “Quaint Rivercrafts Flotilla” will also be the official meeting place of the Pardál Group – therefore all the “merited” beer connoisseurs, who helped to fine-tune the qualities of Pardál pale draught lager and 11° Pardál Echt lager. The entrance is free.

12:15 – inspection and evaluation of rivercrafts (sailors await the evaluation on their rivercrafts)
13:00 – discussion (compulsory attendance of all sailors before setting off)

“Quaint Rivercrafts flotilla” History
In 1973, a group of lads having a beer decided to pass away boredom by floating on the Vltava River from Vyšší Brod to Rožmberk. However, as none of them wanted to use water-beds and lilos, an idea originated to build quant rivercrafts. The first “Quant Rivercrafts Flotilla” saw only two vessels float from Vyšší Brod to Rožmberk, with chance viewers turning their heads in disbelief. This idea, nonetheless, gradually gained its fans, resulting in the eventual number of 50-60 quaint monsters on the Vltava River with 120 – 140 participants on board. The tradition of this event has remained alive to this day.
