Budweiser Budvar campaigns were awarded nine medals in the prestigious competition “Art Directors Club Creative Awards 2017”

On 6th April 2017, a prize presentation ceremony of the advertising creativity competition “Art Directors Club Creative Awards 2017” took place in Prague. Advertising activities carried out for Budweiser Budvar in 2016 received a total of nine awards - three gold, four silver and two bronze ones, thus making Budweiser Budvar Brewery the most successful client of this year as well as the most successful client in the long term. All the projects were created by Kaspen/Jung von Matt advertising agency.  

On April 6th, the results of the 25th Art Directors Club Creative Awards 2017, previously known as “Louskáček”, were presented in Prague. This year, the international panel awarded a total of 60 prizes for work carried out in the past year. Budweiser Budvar Brewery communication activities received overall nine awards, thus making Budweiser Budvar Brewery the most successful client of this year and actually the most successful client in the long term, as it has been awarded 42 medals since 2003.

"We greatly appreciate this award, as it represents another reward for us for all the years of systematic work of the joint marketing and business team together with the Kaspen / Jung von Matt agency. Furthermore, it constitutes proof that Budweiser Budvar and Pardál are still inspiring brands that appeal to us and our surroundings. When you are publicly praised by the best professionals in the field, including foreign experts, you feel great joy for a few seconds immediately followed by the burden of commitment for the future, i.e. to keep up and not to lose sight of the goal. We have a lot of work to do - like every other day. We would like to heartily congratulate our long-time partner Kaspen agency on this year’s clear victory, which has been making a significant contribution to the success of our brands for a long time, besides other big names, for which it must be thanked,” says Budweiser Budvar’s marketing department manager Jana Kubištová, MBA.

This year, the Budweiser Budvar brand received two gold, two silver and two bronze statuettes, mostly in connection with its well-known TV commercial spot called “Three Temptations” (can be seen HERE):

gold - “Craft - Film” category (film version) - “Three Temptations” commercial spot
gold - “Sound Design” category - “Three Temptations” commercial spot
silver - “TV/Cinema” category - “Three Temptations” commercial spot
silver - “Branded Content” category (digital branded content) - “Defeat one Looks forward to” campaign to support rugby
bronze - “Print” category - “Defeat one Looks forward to” campaign to support rugby
bronze - “Integrated Campaign” category - Budweiser Budvar brand campaign 2016

The internet campaign “World Day of Women Living in the Country” promoting the Pardál brand was also very successful, having received three awards:
gold - “Design” category - “World Day of Women Living in the Country” campaign
silver - “Outdoor” category - “World Day of Women Living in the Country” campaign
silver - “Illustration” category - “World Day of Women Living in the Country” campaign
