Budweiser Budvar Brewery prepared its traditional cultural event for Saturday 21st September. A lavish programme starts in the brewery’s new distribution and logistics premises in Kněžskodvorská St. at noon. A total of 16 bands are going to perform on two stages, with the biggest music stars being David Koller, Mandrage, Peter Bič Projekt, Škwor or the German group of Steel Engraved. The main so-called Budvar stage is sheltered. The event is free for children under the age of six, if accompanied by their parents; the entrance fee is CZK 100.
“The Open Day in Budvar is going to commemorate the 118th anniversary of the brewery’s founding and brewing the first batch on 7th October 1895. You are cordially invited. Besides the musical programme, you can visit the Pardál’s school of fine-tuning or view the brewing area of the brewery free,” says Budweiser Budvar’s promotional events manager Petr Klein.
Since the event is to commemorate the brewery’s origination, the whole Budweiser Budvar’s product range is going to be drawn in the premises, i.e. a total of 10 types of beer, 3 out which being yeast beer. The range will be completed by PardálOVO bezové - a mixed beverage from beer along with two types of Somersby cider. Refreshments will also be available in the premises for the whole day, such as goulash, grilled smoked sausages etc. as well as 1,000 sitting places.
