			     <title>Budweiser Budvar, N.C. is under constant supervision of its governing body as well as other government authorities</title>
  			   <link>http://www.budejovickybudvar.cz/en/media/archiv-tiskovych-zprav/2011/audit.html</link>
	  		   <description>
	Budweiser Budvar, N.C. is under a constant control of its governing body (Ministry of Agriculture) as well as many bodies of the public administration. In recent days, the Czech media have given a significant attention to the forthcoming audit in Budweiser Budvar Brewery. This matter has been actively commented on by the Ministry of Agriculture several times. Naturally, Budweiser Budvar, N.C. respects the decision on the audit, since an audit is a regular tool to exercise the right of ownership. However, by the increased publicity the media image of the whole affair has shifted to a state which does not fully correspond with the reality.

	Budweiser Budvar Brewery has put into operation a beer racking appliance for 5 litre kegs (so-called party-kegs). The brewery has been supplying beer in this type of packaging on the market for more than 10 years; nonetheless its racking has been taking place at the supplier in Germany. Filling the party-kegs directly in the brewery is going to enable faster and more flexible response time to customer demands, at the same time decreasing the ecological burden. The investment is worth CZK 4 million. The appliance can fill 300 kegs an hour.

			     <title>Budweiser Budvar Brewery welcomes today’s ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union</title>
  			   <link>http://www.budejovickybudvar.cz/en/media/archiv-tiskovych-zprav/2011/budweiser-soud-eu.html</link>
	  		   <description>
	Today’s ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union is very favourable for Budweiser Budvar Brewery, increasing its chances in further continuation of the legal dispute. The case is still to be dealt with by a British court; nonetheless, today’s decision should be confirmed. “In our opinion, the British court has no other choice than to dismiss our competitor’s legal action. Our ‘Budweiser’ trademark will thus definitely remain listed in the British Trademark Registry Office,” says Budweiser Budvar’s lawyer Helena Lejtnarová.
