U Zlatého lva

This building, which houses an Original Budvarka Beerhouse, is one of the oldest buildings in Tabor. A former bakery and the U Zlatého Lva coach inn, it was constructed around the year 1490.
The Budvarka ground and first floors are dominated with late Gothic supporting posts, which – together with the historic vault – put the finishing touches to the ancient atmosphere of the house. The beerhouse and the taproom, made out of massive oak, copper and brass, are situated on the ground floor. The restaurant, located on the first floor, offers specialties of old Czech and international cuisines including popular beer specialties. The drawing room will provide privacy. Moreover, there is a homely front garden which is opened in case of warm weather. The capacity of both the beerhouse and the restaurant is more than 100 seating places. The interior was constructed on the basis of the concept of an Original Budvarka Beerhouse, whose author is Budweiser Budvar. The backbone of the concept is a unique blend of tradition and modernity, which invokes a pleasant atmosphere attracting those customers who prefer quality beer served with excellent Czech and international cuisines.Beer: Czech Premium Lager, Krausened lager, pale draught beer, dark lager, Bud Super Strong, alcohol-free beer
