Praha 6 - Dejvice
The Original Budvarka Beerhouse in Prague 6 – Dejvice was furnished according to the original design of the Budweiser Budvar Brewery, which is continually constructing a network of brand restaurants “Budvarka” all over the country.
The house where the beerhouse is located was built in 1914 by Josef Paroulek, the master builder. The building has always been related to Budweiser beer, from when the house was built, the “Budvarka” restaurant was opened here. Nevertheless, its owners were forced to hand it over to the state after 1945 and the renowned restaurant was replaced by a school canteen. In the 1990’s, the dilapidated building was returned to its rightful heirs, and the building could be restored to its former glory. The year 2006 brought in an extensive reconstruction, which gave it the today’s look. Every “Budvarka” Beerhouse, with its unique atmosphere of traditional Czech inns, offers the whole assortment of quality and well-treated beer from the production of Budweiser Budvar Brewery: Czech Premium Lager, dark lager and pale draught beer. “Krausened lager”, the strongly recommended specialty of “Budvarka” Beerhouses, contains live yeast and is served in selected restaurants only.
