Hodonín
The former villa of a foundry plant owner, located in the Hodonín centre, has been transformed into a representative building, the Original Budvarka Beerhouse of Budweiser Budvar, National Corporation. The villa, which survived both the periods of nationalization and normalization, and has also served as an administrative building, houses a wine bar, a beerhouse and a restaurant. The building and its interior underwent an extensive reconstruction. The beerhouse is dominated with a new taproom made out of massive oak, copper and brass, which is typical of all Budvarka-s in the whole of the Czech Republic.
The stylish beerhouse, whose seating capacity is 90 people, is situated on the ground floor. In addition, the beerhouse boasts of a grill. On the first floor, there is a restaurant which seats 34 guests, with a drawing room for 20 people. Celebrations can be held in the wine bar, located in the basement vault and famous for its beautiful vault ceiling. Its capacity is 24 seating places.
The garden situated in the yard seats 40 people. The restaurant kitchen proved its worth thanks to such events as “pork feasts”, or “the week of fish specialties” and similar.
