Budweiser Budvar beer - the official beer of the ”Madonna – Sticky & Sweet Tour 2009“
Within its marketing activities, Budweiser Budvar N.C. has been supporting some important cultural events as well for several years now. This year, the Budweiser Budvar trademark became the “Official beer of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour“, therefore the non-pasteurized drawn Budvar will be provided for the visitors of Madonna’s concert. Taken care of by Budweiser Budvar’s team of about 70 people, the total of 50 beer taps will be available. Madonna’s performance in Prague takes place on Thursday 13th August within her “Sticky & Sweet Tour 2009“.
“Despite the fact that managing to serve well-treated beer at similar events proves to be quite difficult, our team is ready to provide the highest quality and serving speed. For this concert, we have singled out 70 workers and two juggernauts, one with the equipment and second with the beer. We hope that all visitors will enjoy not only the ambience of the concert, but also our beer,” says Budweiser Budvar’s promotional events assistant Petr Klein.
A competition with tickets as the winning prize was also arranged by Budweiser Budvar for its fans, having taken place from 27th July to 6th August on Budvar’s website www.budvar.cz. The competitors could win the total of 10 tickets.
This will be the second time Prague will welcome the pop-queen Madonna. Her “Sticky & Sweet Tour 2009“ show started with its first part on 23rd August 2008 in Wales and subsequently took place at 58 places in America, Canada and Europe. Since the concerts had been meet with great success, Madonna decided to reopen her tour, having performed e.g. in Petrograd, Tallinn and Oslo within its second part. Her Prague concert takes place on 13th August at the Natural Amphitheatre in Prague-Chodov.
