Budweiser Budvar has launched exporting to the United Arab Emirates UAE
A historically first beer consignment to the United Arab Emirates left the Budweiser Budvar Brewery yesterday. A total of 105 hectolitres of Budweiser Budvar Czech Premium Lager in 0.33 litre bottles is making for Dubai, which ranks amongst the most important financial and tourist centres worldwide.
“We consider the United Arab Emirates market a very perspective one, as it has a stable environment, relatively tolerant towards alcohol consumption and mainly, a dynamically growing group of solvent customers - the tourists. The number of tourists just in Dubai itself is supposed to rise threefold within the next three years therefore the number of restaurants is going to similarly increase,” says Budweiser Budvar’s export manager for the Near East Jiří Pokorný. For this reason Budvar is going to be sold primarily in luxurious restaurants of 5* hotels, such as “Le Méridien Dubai“ http://www.starwoodhotels.com/lemeridien or “The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina“ http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin.
The price of a 0.33 litre bottle of the pale lager will range from around AED 26 -36, which is about CZK 150 - 180.
