The Masné Krámy restaurant is going to introduce specialties from fresh asparagus within its Asparagus Spree

The Masné Krámy restaurant’s head chef Luděk Hauser prepared yet another gourmet event of Asparagus Spree, the sixth one already. From Wednesday 15th May, the restaurant’s guests can find a total of eight dishes with green and white asparagus on the menu. These specialties are going to be completed by rhubarb compote with ice-cream.
The 6th Budvar Fest will take place in style

The 6th year of Budvar Fest festival is going to take place in a really big style indeed, providing a very interesting musical programme. A total of eight bands, five of which being from abroad, are going to perform in the premises of Budweiser Budvar Brewery (entry from Kněžskodovorská St.) on 30th April. The Norwegian group of Turbonegro will be the main star of the event. Besides a great musical experience, the visitors are also going to enjoy the opening of BU2R MonuMental Tour. This open skating competition in freestyle and mini-ramp is also taking place in other towns around the Czech Republic this year.
Budweiser Budvar is launching new Somersby Pear Cider on the Czech market

Last year, Budweiser Budvar, N.C. became the sole importer of the apple cider of the Danish brand of Somersby to the Czech Republic. Customer interest in this product exceeded all expectations and sales volume went beyond 2,100 hectolitres. As the demand for cider should rise this year as well, Budweiser Budvar is launching a new version of cider on the Czech market - Somersby Pear Cider.
The interest in Budweiser Budvar Brewery tours increased last year

In 2012, the brewing areas of Budweiser Budvar were viewed by 39,469 visitors, which represents a year-on-year rise of 10 %. The interest in the multimedia exposition “The tale of beer from Budweis” also increased by 36% with 3,488 people having viewed it. The tourists of 68 countries came e.g. from India, New Zealand and Peru.
The trout season is starting in the Masné krámy restaurant completed also by ramsons specialties

Tomorrow the trout season starts in the “Masné krámy” restaurant. The guests will be provided will several hundred pieces of Šumava trout and brook trout from the Trout Farm Mlýny. Furthermore, the restaurant’s this week’s menu will be gastronomically enhanced by interesting specialties with ramsons.
Budweiser Budvar brand advertising campaign was awarded a grand prix in the prestigious competition “Louskáček”

The advertising campaign “NO” for the Budweiser Budvar brand created by Kaspen/Jung von Matt advertising agency was awarded a grand prix in the prestige competition of advertising creativity “Louskáček”. Other communication activities of this agency for Budweiser Budvar Brewery were also awarded, as the panel granted them with three gold, two silver and one bronze “Louskáček” prizes.
Budweiser Budvar is launching a brand new mixed beverage from beer on the market

As of 1st April 2013, Budweiser Budvar, N.C. is launching the sale of a brand new mixed beverage from beer under the name of “PardáOVO Bezové“. The drink contains 2.0 % of alcohol and no chemical preserving agents or artificial colourings are used during its production. It is going to be sold in 0.5 litre cans and bottles in retail shops as well as in gastronomic facilities. The brewery anticipates selling a volume of over 10,000 hectolitres this year. The qualities of “PardálOVO bezové” were yet again fine-tuned by the help of some consumers, resulting in a balanced combination of refreshing flavour of elder flower with distinct beer bitterness. The new beverage will thus suit both men and women.
Nine new types of fried schnitzels in the Masné krámy restaurant

The Masné krámy restaurant is preparing yet another culinary event; this time aimed at fried schnitzels favourers. Besides the typical menu items of pork schnitzel and Czech fried cheese, the head chef Luděk Hauser is going to supply the customers with another nine types of this popular dish, such as the so-called “Reversed schnitzel made from beef short loin” or the “Zucchini soup with fried blue cheese”. The schnitzels week takes places in the restaurant from 20.3. until 24.3. 2013.
Budweiser Budvar produces the first beer with a recommended consumption age over 21

Budweiser Budvar, N.C. is launching a substantial sales reinforcement of the beer specialty of the BUD brand in the Czech Republic. Effective from 18th March, some selected restaurants will draw a limited batch of special beer BUD Premier Select. It’s the only existing beer on the Czech market which is made of an especially rare ingredient – freshly harvested hop cones, as well as brewer’s yeast. BUD Premier Select Limited Edition is a unique product with a more distinct hop aroma, higher bitterness and mild yeast accent intended particularly for beer experts and connoisseurs.
